4-1 on Thursday night this year.

28-33-2 YTD. Slowly getting back over.500 and looking to finish between 55-60%.

Nebraska (-10')

Went back and forth on this and there are a lot of trends going towards Southern Miss, but I think the tempting thing to do here is to play a home dog against a team in their first road game.

However, I think Nebraska will be up for this one. They were 3-0 last year and went to Penn State and got embarrassed. I'm sure Solich is using that as a motivational tool.

The Huskers do not have a lookahead since they only have Troy State at home.

Nebraska is #8 in the nation in Rushing Defense (63.3), #3 in Passing Efficiency Defense and #1 in Total Defense.

I don't think Southern Miss will be able to put more than 10 points up on the Huskers. Plus, Southern Miss is #106 in Net Punting (31.78). They have had a couple blocked already and Nebraska has a speedster in IB Josh Davis who can bust one at anytime. He also has a 31 yd KO Return average. I think this will help Jamaal Lord (who straight-up sucks) to work on a short field.

Nebraska 27, Southern Miss 10
